A Board Certified Ophthalmologist whose dedication to standards of excellence in eye care is
a way of life for Guy S. Mullin, M.D..
Dr. Mullin has extensive training in various methods of
refractive surgery including Radial Keratotomy, Astigmatic Keratotomy, and Laser Vision
Correction (LASIK). In addition to his diagnostic and treatment experience, he has been
performing microsurgery for visual improvement for more than twenty years. Dr. Mullin also performs the latest procedure using Deluxe Lifestyle Multifocal Intraocular Lenses for cataract patients.
Dr. Mullin's
ophthalmologic background was established with his residency training at the Washington
National Eye Center, which specializes in trauma care. In 1996, he received the National
Cataract & Implant Surgery Award from the American College of Eye Surgeons in recognition
of his surgical technique.
Dr. Mullin attended Villanova University as a presidential scholar
in the Honors Program. He graduated from Georgetown University School of Medicine in Washington,
D.C., where he was the recipient of the Taber Memorial Scholarship awarded by the Department
of Surgery. Dr. Mullin also completed his internship training in Internal Medicine working at
The Washington Hospital Center.
